From the song "Spies and Women" released in September
I developed the image of a soundtrack to a fictional suspense movie.
I have made a synopsis of the film.
but everyone is free to imagine the story and enjoy it.
I hope you will enjoy it.
Fictitious synopsis and explanation
M1 Opening Title ~The Incident
A woman walking near the scene of the incident, her expression somewhat sad.
(Thats Japanese suspense music.
I had always wanted to do a cliché-like trumpet phrase.)
M2 Run through the junkyard !
While investigating a junkyard, the main character is attacked by someone.
It seems that there is something that must not be known.
(The tuba was thinking of blistering heavy rock, and as he was making phrases, the sounds around him were getting more and more
became more and more junk-rock.
I like the rhythmic breathing and the crazy hand claps.)
M3 The SPY and the Woman (Album EDIT)
We finally find out who the culprit is.
Who is it?
And the story comes to a sad end.
(A song released in September was edited drastically for the album.
I made it more suspenseful.
The BPM was also increased by 1.
I like the mix of the brass arrangement near the end.)
M4 The Truth Lies at the Bottom of the Sea
Truth" slowly sinking to the bottom of the ocean where no one is.
It was a quiet sleep, free from pain and regret.
(I had been working on this song since the beginning of this year.
It wasn't really intended for this album, but I tried it out and I'm glad I did.
I tried it out and it was so good that I re-arranged it and included it.
I tried to create an atmosphere of sinking to the bottom of the sea and falling apart little by little.
It's LoFi, but I didn't want it to be too nebulous.
I got a good balance of feedback, reverberation. )
M5 End Roll ~Waltz at Dawn
After work, the main character goes to his usual bar.
There, a group of honest drunks are singing a nonsense waltz.
It is as if there was no incident from the beginning.
(I wanted to create an atmosphere in which the world continues to turn as it always does...
I tried to create an atmosphere. )
So, as some of you may have noticed
The sound of the trumpet = the main character.
I myself like the sound of the muted trumpet because it is so austere.
I have a mini-trumpet, but I can't play the high notes very well.
